Although I don't recieve VTU therefore I haven't seen the Wormhole
article. :( Anyway a while back I had to make my own Wormhole and
only used a 5 segmented cone. Plopped off the ends and flipped the
normals and that was it for the modeling part. Then after giving it
a nebula kinda color I used an Underwater diffusion with around 10
freq. with a heavy Ripples bumps. Then when it came time to animate
it, I just moved the Ripples at about a .001 rate along the x-z
axis. It came out real nice and cloudy like. Also gave it a tad bit
of transparancy too to show some stars behind it.
You could even put a few bones into it and have it bend too. Anyway
Why am I writing this? well, just thought I'd post my Wormhole thing
